Köd dereng fel, földöntúli fényben,

Épületek foszladoznak, akár az élőhalottak,
Sírköveket állítanak az emberek maguknak.

Részegen száguld, vágtat a szél az utcákon,
Csillagpór sziporkázik a házak felett és a házakon,
Hálni jár belém a lélek, de nem aludt már régen,
Elbarangolt, s ott bolyong most valahol a messzeségben.
Honvágyam van a lelkem után, mely szabadon kóborol.
Követném mindenhová, de hiába, nem tudom.
Élet és halál között, mindkettőt választanám,
S azon gondolkozom, mi vár életem után.

Necropolis

The night falls, bringing death,
The light of the street lamps, gets lost in the darkness,
A wolf is searching in the trash, there is not a single soul in the city,
A star is falling, and washes away without a sound.
Fog looms, in otherworldly light.
There are ghosts moving, floating in the greyness.
The buildings are decaying, just like the undead,
The people are raising tombstones for themselves.

The wind is racing drunken on the streets,
Stardust in glistening on the top of the houses and above them,
My soul dwells in me only to sleep, but it didn’t sleep in a long time,
It’s gone and wandering, somewhere in the distance.
I’m homesick for my soul, that’s roaming free,
I’d follow it everywhere, but I’m unable.
Between life and death, I’d choose both,
And I’m thinking of what is to be come after I die.
